2021–2023
As Senior Product Designer, I designed internal tools that optimized the user experience and reliability for design and engineering teams across the employer platform.
I had the opportunity to work closely with the UX Research team, designing and launching an internal research library, as well as the Site Reliability Teams, designing critical tools that helped diagnose and improve up time for the platform.

2019
As Senior Product Designer, I was brought in during a pivotal time in the product organization's evolution; a design team was leaving while a new team was forming.
During that interim period I was able to work closely with the CEO and new product director to help improve the core product and improve adoption of their new application.

2019–2020
As Head of Design, I hired and provided direction for a team of 4 product designers, establishing a UX team presence for an international company.
We were responsible for the entirety of the product suite as well as the brand direction and output. The team collaborates heavily with dedicated research, marketing, and engineering teams throughout all timezones.
Projects included the development and launch of a new product, improvements and updates to the flagship suite, and the ongoing development of a design system and UX roadmap and backlog.

2017-2019
I began as a Senior Product Designer and quickly became a Design Team Lead as our team grew from 4 to 13 during a year long consolidation of the company's core products.
I was given the opportunity to bring important processes to the design team and product organization such as user-testing, design reviews, brainstorming, iteration, and the mentorship of fresh designers in the team.

2014-2017
Think Company was where I learned the most about user experience, research, and how to think bigger picture about the impact of design.
I also learned the value of teamwork and collaboration in brainstorming "think" sessions with clients, which were a standard on every project. I was given the opportunity to work as a consultant on a variety of client projects, creating wireframes, user personas, journey maps, and design systems.

As a first brush with UX, I began to tailor my graphic design training and previous experience working in design and marketing agencies towards learning more about the users that interacted with the interfaces I created.
At Maritz Events (formerly Experient) my core focus was designing the registration sites and interactive kiosks at different trade events. I noticed the struggle users would have on touch screens, fumbling with small text inputs in order to register for the event. My success was fine-tuning the interface for touch interaction, and evolving the kiosks through each event.

2005-2008
I studied under a graphic design program deeply rooted in the Swiss design aesthetic. This taught me the value of organization, communication, and presentation as well as how to leverage design patterns to enhance storytelling and communication.

Twice I was able to intern for CerealArt, a product design company which created artist multiples. I spent my time creating packaging, visual design, and promotional assets, as well as a year long visual project for Kehinde Wiley.
I had the opportunity to intern for a well known advertising agency, learning the process of brainstorming, as well as core production tasks, helping design leads shape campaigns.
